Audionostrum
Website:https://audionostrum.com/
Audionostrum is a Spanish loudspeaker maker based in Barcelona, building handmade high-end speakers named after planets and moons. The company was started by two friends, one an acoustician with more than twenty years of experience and the other an entrepreneur whose software firm develops systems for space exploration, which explains the planetary model names. The brand has shown its range at the HiFi Deluxe event in Munich.
Range & what it's known for
The range runs from the compact Mercury and Venus for small and medium rooms to the Saturn for larger spaces and the tall Jupiter at the top. The Titan opens a Monitor Luxury series inspired by classic studio monitors, and Triton and Pandora complete the family. A central feature is the patented Orbital Driver System for the high frequencies, combined with horn geometry derived from fluid mechanics, and models such as Saturn use a paper midrange and carbon fibre woofers.
Who owns it and where it's made
Audionostrum is a privately owned company held by its two founders. Design and assembly take place in Barcelona, where the speakers are made by hand.
