In the fully-balanced input stage, we fitted a Lundahl step up transformer with an amorphous core, type LL1932. The unit's gain is 45db, plus the voltage gain of the step-up transformer. E-Glo's amplifier section uses split, fully passive equalisation, without any equalisation in global negative feedback loop, which can harm the sound.
E-Glo Petit is the younger brother of the highly regarded and award—winning E-Glo S. Thanks to its completely discrete design without operational amplifiers, we were able to achieve outstanding sound in a small and compact form factor. Stunning dynamics, clear midrange, and high resolution are what make the E-Glo Petit so much better than its weight.
The EAT E-Glo 2 phono preamplifier is equipped with four ECC83 tubes and two ECC88 tubes. According to the manufacturer, the user can experiment with different compatible tubes, achieving a sound that matches his tastes to the maximum extent. The EAT E-Glo 2 phono preamplifier has a fully balanced input stage with a Lundahl LL1932 step-up transformer for the MC input. The transformer provides a gain of 45 dB, sufficient for working with moving coil (MC) heads. The equalization stage here is completely passive.
