The Ortofon Concorde MKII Elite is a premium MM cartridge with a Nude Elliptical diamond needle, an 8.5 mV output voltage, an aluminum—magnesium cantilever and an improved damping system for detailed sound and live effect.
The Ortofon MC X40 is the pinnacle of the MC X series. According to Ortofon, it is designed for the most demanding audiophiles. With a Shibata-sharpened diamond needle (r/R 6/50 microns) mounted on a durable and lightweight boron cantilever, this cartridge promises unsurpassed transparency, speed, and responsiveness.
The Ortofon MC X30 cartridge promises even higher sound quality thanks to a diamond needle with a nude fine-line sharpening (r/R 8/40 microns) with an aluminum cantilever. The manufacturer claims outstanding accuracy and resolution, allowing you to play music with spectacular detail and dynamic range.
The Ortofon MC X20 head is also equipped with an elliptical diamond needle (r/R 8/18 microns) mounted on an aluminum cantilever. Ortofon emphasizes its ability to convey more depth and clarity, revealing the full character of each track. The channel separation at 1 kHz is 25 dB.
The heart of the Ortofon MC X series is an advanced stainless steel frame with a honeycomb structure, manufactured using a technology called Metal Injection Molding (MIM).
