The DP-470 retains the ESS ES9026PRO DAC, but Accuphase has redesigned its circuitry. Four parallel MDS+ circuits work together with the proprietary ANCC circuit, which is designed to reduce noise and distortion. The power supply for the digital and analog parts is separated, and the RCA and XLR output stages are electrically isolated from each other.
