A Visionary Look at the Next Generation of Audiophile Sound
Beryllium tweeters, first introduced into speakers in the 70s of the XX century, are back in fashion - and have become much more technologically advanced. What can I say about beryllium, now diamond diaphragms are also in use - even on midrange drivers. That's not even mentioning carbon fiber cones, iron-free magnet systems, or zirconium baskets. What does the future hold? In this article, we'll look at modern acoustics design ideas, analyze new technology trends, talk about innovative loudspeakers designs, and more. We'll also consider how acoustics can evolve their designs in the next decade and beyond.
Børresen has announced significant changes to its range of loudspeakers - the new Børresen T series of loudspeakers, consisting of three models of different sizes (T1, T3 and T5) and three upgraded SSE (Silver Supreme Edition) versions, will replace the Børresen 0 series in the company's product range.
The five-inch drivers in the SE version are equipped with titanium baskets that provide exceptional rigidity and damping. The finite element optimized design ensures a smooth flow of air without interference.
The Børresen C1 are bookshelf speakers that combine cutting—edge technology and sophisticated design. They provide exceptional musical detail, clarity and depth of sound. They operate in the frequency range from 45 Hz to 50,000 Hz and require an amplifier with at least 50 watts of power.
The bookshelf speakers feature an exclusive ribbon tweeter, complemented by a 4.5-inch Børresen X-Series speaker, which provides a rich, detailed and dynamic sound stage.
2-way bookshelf speaker, series: M line, acoustic design: bass reflex, drivers: BØRRESEN ribbon tweeter, patented BØRRESEN midrange/4.5" woofer, iron-free
The Borresen Z1 CRYO bookshelf speaker offers an amazing range of technologies and design features with very compact dimensions and minimal footprint. Due to the 3-day deep (-196°C) cryogenic treatment of all metal components of the Borresen Z1 CRYO shelf speaker, the conductivity is significantly increased by 6-8%
