The main innovation implemented in the JBL Tour One M3 was the Smart Tx technology, which JBL uses for the first time in its wireless headphones, and which was specially designed for demanding listeners. The JBL Smart Tx is a small wireless audio transmitter with a touch screen that connects to the USB—C port of a smartphone, tablet, or laptop, or to an analog audio source, such as the on-board entertainment system of an airplane.
