The output cascades of the Soulnote P-3 are made according to the balanced Type-R scheme without feedback. This solution was first used in the SACD player Soulnote S-3. The pre-amplifier is designed in strict accordance with the "dual mono" ideology, and a separate power unit with its own transformer is provided for powering digital control systems.
