The amplifier has absorbed all the advanced McIntosh technologies. The X Power Guard technology is responsible for the safety of the speakers here, and the amplifier is protected from short circuits by the proprietary Sentry Monitor automatic system. Fully passive cooling of the output stages is implemented on McIntosh Monogrammed Heatsink radiators.
