The Yamaha AS 2200 uses fully balanced circuitry and uses the highest-end components. There is also balanced switching, as well as a built-in phono corrector for both movable magnet (MM) and movable coil (MC) heads. Developing up to 160 Watts in each channel when operating on a load with a nominal resistance of 4 ohms, the amplifier demonstrates a damping coefficient exceeding 250.
