According to the manufacturer, the operating range of the Cambridge Audio EVO S extends from 50 Hz to 40 kHz with a sensitivity of 88 dB and a nominal resistance of 8 ohms. With very modest dimensions (284 x 200 x 216 mm), the weight of each column is an impressive 7.1 kg.
The Cambridge Audio Min 12 is great for creating 2.1 music systems as well as multi-channel home theater kits. The Dynamic BMR (Balanced Mode Radiator) radiator combines the advantages of diffuser and membrane (NXT) designs with a very low distortion level over the entire operating frequency range.
The speakers are equipped with a silk dome tweeter with a diameter of 25 mm with an additional foam absorber located behind the radiator, which, according to the developers, compensates for unwanted reflections and allows you to create a wide stage.
The younger Cambridge Audio L/R S model is designed to work in the near field and small spaces. It is not equipped with StreamMagic and relies on wireless playback via Bluetooth aptX HD, as well as on physical connections, including USB Audio for working with a computer. The speakers are designed for use on the desktop, in the bedroom or in the kitchen and offer a simpler configuration compared to older models.
The L/R X is the flagship of the series: it uses two 5-inch woofers and a pair of 6-inch passive vibration-compensated radiators.
The Cambridge Audio L/R M speakers are made in a 2.5-band configuration and are equipped with a new 28 mm Torus tweeter developed by Cambridge Audio.
