A combined wireless and IR remote works with an interface that doubles as a TV menu and a music centre, switching between hard disk, USB stick and TF card sources.

Pairing

An amplifier with XLR inputs takes the balanced outputs directly, and the S/PDIF output lets an existing DAC take over conversion. The front 3.5 mm jack drives headphones for desktop listening. The internal NVMe slot lets a large library live inside the player, so a separate NAS is optional, while existing network shares remain reachable over NFS and SMB. Ripped CDs can be stored on the same drive, which turns the TY-i60 into a single box for collecting, storing and playing music in a small system.
