It is a far larger design than the earlier LōKē and was conceived to sit alongside the bigger Wilson loudspeakers. American pricing started at USD 29,500 in a standard finish and rose to USD 30,500 for upgrade colours, USD 32,500 for custom paint and USD 33,500 for the top Pearl tier, while the UK price was GBP 31,998 including VAT.

Key specs that matter

A single 12-inch woofer with a dual-spider suspension is driven by a built-in 1,600 W amplifier. Wilson quotes the amplifier frequency response as 5 Hz to 500 Hz. The front-ported enclosure stands 76.78 cm tall on its spikes, is 45.72 cm wide and has a depth of 62.41 cm including grille and 60.43 cm when bare, and the X-Material cabinet alone accounts for roughly 113 kg. Inputs come in balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA form, with a Left/Mono input for single-channel feeds and a separate right input.

Engineering and use context

The driver is a proprietary unit tuned for the two bottom octaves of the audible band. Its twin spiders form a triangulated geometry that restricts the high-excursion cone to pistonic motion. The cabinet uses X-Material, a composite Wilson developed with Brigham Young University to suppress resonance and mechanical noise, with a V-Material back plate and an S-Material front baffle behind a thick aluminium face that gives the woofer a damped mounting surface. The amplifier is bolted to a T6061 aluminium plate on the rear, and decorative fins modelled on the mountains around the Wilson factory carry heat away. A custom-tuned DSP matches the amplifier to the driver and enclosure, and it can be bypassed completely. Four analogue knobs face forward on a tilted panel - Gain, Delay (Phase), ELF Trim and LP Frequency - and each can be marked with its own indicator ring. The removable grille hides the fixing hardware beneath its post catchers, and the enclosure curves follow the pattern of the WAMM Master Chronosonic and Alida CSC.

Bypassing the internal DSP suits systems that already have a home cinema processor or an external bass manager, such as the Wilson ActivXO crossover for two subwoofers. Paint choices cover 5 standard colours, 14 upgrade colours and 10 Pearl shades, so the unit can be matched to Wilson main speakers in the same WilsonGloss finish.
