Сабвуферы — DALI SUB V-16 F

The SUB V-16 F is a 16-inch powered subwoofer from DALI, developed in collaboration with Purifi Audio for large home cinemas. It was officially launched at ISE 2026 in Barcelona on 6 February 2026, priced at USD 9,000 in the US, and holds THX Certified Dominus status, the highest residential THX rating, for rooms up to 185 m3. Engineering was led by Claus Futtrup, DALI's Engineering Manager Acoustics, while CI Business Development Manager Michael Munch oversaw the development.

Key specs that matter

An internal Class D amplifier supplies 1,500 W RMS of continuous power, with 2,500 W available as peak output. DALI rates in-room response at 19 Hz to 200 Hz within 3 dB through the line input, extending to 500 Hz through the LFE input. Maximum output reaches 122 dB at 1 m. Low-pass filtering can be set between 40 Hz and 200 Hz, and input impedance is 9 kohm. Signal enters via two RCA jacks or two XLR jacks, each usable for stereo, mono or LFE signals, plus one balanced XLR follower output. The cabinet measures 570.5 mm high, 520 mm wide and 560 mm deep, weighs 55 kg and holds 90 litres. Mains power rating is 550 W, with 0.5 W in standby.

Engineering and use context

The custom 16-inch long-throw driver has an anodised aluminium diaphragm mounted on a Constant Surface Surround rubber surround that DALI calls its largest to date. It moves 16 mm linearly in each direction, and reaches 70 mm peak to peak, while DALI calls its magnet motor the largest the company has developed. Four continuous flare reflex ports are tuned to 18 Hz and shaped to prevent chuffing, and supplied port plugs convert the enclosure to sealed operation. Panels are 25 mm thick, the front baffle is 50 mm, and the interior is braced. DSP control handles the low-pass roll-off with low signal latency and adds Constant Group Delay processing. Three sound modes are provided - Cinema for LFE-channel audio, Music for low bass in music and Boost. Volume, gain, phase in 90 degree steps, crossover and mode settings sit on a front-mounted panel. The veneered cabinet is offered in Black Ash.

Pairing

The balanced XLR inputs connect to AV processors and preamplifiers with balanced subwoofer outputs, and the RCA pair serves sources with unbalanced outputs. Through the follower output several units can be daisy-chained from one feed.

Alternatives

The DALI SUB K-14 F is a smaller powered subwoofer in the brand's range, built around a 14-inch aluminium woofer driven by a 450 W RMS Class D amplifier.
