Напольная акустика — Von Schweikert Audio ULTRA.eleven

The ULTRA.eleven is a flagship floorstanding loudspeaker from Von Schweikert Audio, sitting at the top of the brand's ULTRA reference series, representing the fullest current expression of the company's engineering ambition. Von Schweikert Audio has built a considerable reputation for combining advanced driver technology with meticulous cabinet craftsmanship across its ULTRA lineup.

Key specs that matter

Rated response is an exceptionally deep 16Hz to 40,000Hz within plus-or-minus 3dB, an extraordinary low-frequency figure extending well into infrasonic territory, reflecting the substantial cabinet volume and driver array this flagship model commands. Sensitivity is a notably high 94dB into a demanding 4 ohm load, with recommended amplifier power specified at 100W - a comparatively modest figure relative to the speaker's considerable scale, made possible by the high sensitivity efficiently extracting acoustic output from available amplifier power. At a substantial 213.3 x 53.3 x 76.2cm, the ULTRA.eleven represents one of Von Schweikert Audio's most ambitious current cabinet designs, with dimensions consistent with true flagship-tier floorstanding scale.

Sound and use context

Expect breathtaking clarity, depth and dynamic range reflecting Von Schweikert Audio's flagship engineering ambition across the entire ULTRA series - the exceptionally deep 16Hz bass extension combined with high sensitivity suggests a design capable of both effortless low-level nuance and explosive dynamic peaks without strain, even from comparatively modest amplification given the high 94dB efficiency figure.

Pairing

The high 94dB sensitivity keeps the recommended 100W amplifier requirement modest relative to the speaker's considerable scale, though the demanding 4 ohm impedance still rewards amplification with reasonable current delivery to fully realise the deep bass extension this flagship design offers.

Alternatives

Von Schweikert Audio's ULTRA.five sits below this flagship ULTRA.eleven at a more compact scale within the same reference series, worth considering instead if the ULTRA.eleven's considerable size and flagship-tier investment exceed what a specific room requires. Von Schweikert Audio's decades of accumulated driver and cabinet engineering experience across the ULTRA series culminate most fully in this flagship ULTRA.eleven, representing the brand's clearest statement of what unrestricted engineering ambition can achieve.
