Engineering and use context

The slant base tilts the drivers back toward the listener, and the wide, relatively shallow cabinet keeps the depth modest for such a large woofer. The speaker is best treated as a 4 ohm load, so any amplifier chosen needs to remain stable at 4 ohm and deliver current there.
