Production takes place in Jarocin, the Polish town where the company has its headquarters, and the model reached the market in March 2022 at EUR 5,499 per pair. A powered sibling, the Jasper 23 Active, shares the name and carries a 150 W amplifier module per driver on the rear panel, with WiSA wireless signal transmission.

Two 15 cm Scan-Speak Revelator 15W/8531K00 woofers cover the bass and midrange, and a 26 mm Scan-Speak D2608/913000 silk dome handles the top octaves. Pylon lists a range of 35 Hz to 20 kHz, 4 ohm impedance and 88 dB efficiency. Power handling is 100 W nominal and 200 W maximum. The cabinet stands 992 mm tall, only 166 mm wide and 401 mm deep, and each unit weighs 26 kg. The company pitches the pair at rooms from 18 to 35 m2.

Engineering and use context

The Revelator cones carry the slit pattern characteristic of this Danish series, intended to control distortion in the diaphragm. The tweeter's moving mass is just 0.18 g, which Pylon counts among the lightest of any silk dome of this type. A two-way passive network of nine parts, four of them coils, uses Jantzen Audio capacitors and sits on an unusually thick terminal plate that doubles as its mounting base. Enclosure panels are dense MDF, with a sandwich construction on the front and back baffles for extra rigidity. Both the front and rear surfaces are curved, which limits diffraction and prevents parallel walls from supporting standing waves, and internal reinforcements fight panel resonance. Two bass-reflex ports fire from the back. Tapered legs with mirrored sides form the base, and their M6 threaded sockets accept either spikes or felt pads. Grilles attach magnetically and cover only the drivers. Finish options run to American walnut, Morocco ebony, white or black in matt or high gloss, and any RAL colour in either sheen.

Pairing

A single pair of binding posts means one run of cable per side, with no bi-wiring option. Such a low-impedance speaker needs an amplifier that stays stable into demanding loads, and the power rating points to a solid-state integrated or a pre and power combination rather than a small valve design. Rear ports need some clearance from the wall behind.
