Radiotehnika, the audio brand with roots in Soviet-era manufacturing that was revived in 2023, makes the S-10NA as a small active two-way shelf speaker. It is the active version of the passive S-10N and carries its own amplification, a DAC, wireless reception and a phono stage, so a single pair forms a complete stereo system in little space. The maker positions it as a multimedia system for music, films and games in a home setting. The price in Russia was 31,990 roubles, against 23,990 roubles for the passive S-10N.

Inside every enclosure a 20 mm soft dome tweeter works with a 108 mm mid/bass driver with a POLYGLASS diaphragm, a paper base loaded with glass microparticles. The built-in amplifier supplies 2 x 30 W. Rated frequency response runs from 62 Hz to 30,000 Hz. Wireless playback uses Bluetooth 5.0 with the aptX HD codec. Wired inputs cover a USB-C port, an optical digital socket, a 3.5 mm analogue mini-jack and an RCA pair that switches between line and phono, with a grounding terminal for a turntable. The speaker is 25 cm high and 232 mm deep, which lets it sit on a desk next to a computer, and one unit weighs about 2.5 kg. There is no Wi-Fi module.

Engineering and use context

The enclosures are MDF finished in dark ash veneer with protective fabric grilles. A bass reflex port on the rear panel comes with removable plugs, allowing the opening to be closed off for placement near a wall. Power arrives from an external 24 V supply, which keeps heat and noise from the mains section out of the cabinet. Connected by USB-C, the S-10NA works as an external sound card, while the integrated converter decodes both the optical and the USB signal. There is no display - the front carries only small indicators and a volume control. The remote changes volume and source, adjusts the equaliser and selects presets for music, movies, dialogue and podcasts. With the phono preamplifier on board, a record player lacking its own stage plugs straight into the RCA input.

Pairing

Radiotehnika lists smartphones, laptops, televisions and turntables as typical sources, each reaching the speakers through the wireless link, the digital inputs or the analogue sockets. No separate amplifier is required. A subwoofer output lets the pair grow into a 2.1 system.
