Grogu is the smoke green member of a four-piece Star Wars series of Audio-Technica ATH-CKS50TW2 true wireless earphones, sold under the model code ATH-CKS50TW2 GG. The set also covers Darth Vader, R2-D2 and The Mandalorian, and every design was developed under Lucasfilm supervision as an officially licensed product. Japanese sales began on April 25, 2025, while in the United States pre-orders opened on April 21 ahead of a May 4 launch at USD 179. The internal hardware matches the standard ATH-CKS50TW2.

Key specs that matter

A 9 mm SOLID BASS HD TWS dynamic driver sits in each bud, rated at 110 dB/mW, 20 ohm and 5 to 20,000 Hz. Bluetooth 5.3 carries SBC, AAC and LC3, with a stated range within 10 m in open space. Battery life per charge reaches up to 25 hours from the earphones with noise cancelling off, or 15 hours with cancelling active, and the case raises the totals to about 65 and 40 hours respectively. Recharging takes around 2.5 hours for the buds and about 4.0 hours for the case by USB, or 7.5 hours when it sits on a Qi pad. Each earphone weighs roughly 7.2 g and the case about 51.5 g. Only the earphones carry IP55 protection against water and dust.

Engineering and use context

Audio clips taken from the films replace the usual voice guidance, so the earphones announce their status with Grogu's own voice and the opening and closing of his hovering pram. The colouring is soft green, and short character messages are placed across the design - the lid reads Wherever I go, he goes. The box is designed with collectors in mind and comes with an original sticker. Audio-Technica's Connect app gets matching Star Wars screens, and its Soundscape feature for focus and rest adds film ambience such as Grogu breathing in his sleep and the forests of the planet Sorgan, while the private timer can use a Grogu alarm. Magnetic Switch powers the buds on when they are separated and off when their magnets join, so they can be carried without the case during the day. Hybrid digital noise cancelling, call noise reduction and washable earphones complete the package.

Pairing

Multipoint support keeps two Bluetooth devices connected together, such as a laptop alongside a phone. LE Audio with LC3 works with compatible phones after a firmware update and lowers latency and power draw, though some features are unavailable while it is active. A 50 cm USB Type-A to Type-C cable and XS, S, M and L tips are included, and spare ER-TW32 tips can be bought separately.
