Наушники — SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 Gen 2

The Arctis Nova 7 Gen 2 is a closed wireless over-ear gaming headset from SteelSeries, listed for PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X and S and mobile devices. It links through a 2.4 GHz USB-C dongle and over Bluetooth 5.3, and both connections can run at once. Every colour version launched at USD 199.99.

Key specs that matter

SteelSeries fits 40 mm neodymium drivers. SteelSeries rates the frequency response at 20 Hz to 22 kHz, sensitivity at 105 dB SPL and impedance at 36 ohm. Battery life reaches up to 54 hours over 2.4 GHz RF, up to 42 hours on Bluetooth alone and up to 38 hours with both radios active together. A 15-minute charge over USB-C gives up to 6 hours, a full charge takes about 1.5 hours, and the headset can be used while charging. Weight is 325 g. Battery capacity is about 40 percent larger than on the first generation.

Engineering and use context

The ClearCast Gen 2 boom microphone retracts into the left earcup, bends to position and has LED indicators for mute and connection mode. Its bidirectional noise cancellation is rated at 25 dB, and its response is 100 Hz to 6.5 kHz over Bluetooth, extending to about 7 kHz over 2.4 GHz RF and USB. The right cup carries the power and Bluetooth buttons and a wheel that balances chat against game audio, while the left cup has the volume knob and mic mute. The headband has a metal frame with an elastic ComfortMax suspension band, parts of the ear assemblies use PVD-coated steel, and the pads combine breathable fabric with synthetic leather. Bluetooth runs with the SBC codec only. Software 360-degree spatial audio is supported, and the Arctis Companion app for iOS and Android offers more than 200 EQ presets.

Pairing

Conversion and amplification are built in, so the headset works without external electronics. The USB-C dongle is 53.8 mm wide, and the boom microphone is fixed rather than detachable. Support for the Arctis smartphone app is new compared with the first generation. The dongle plugs into a PC, console or handheld, a phone joins over Bluetooth at the same time, and a 3.5 mm socket allows wired use with sources that lack USB-C. Colour trims include black, white and magenta.

Alternatives

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Elite is the higher-priced wireless headset in the range, with carbon fibre drivers, active noise cancellation and a GameHub dock with hot-swappable batteries.
