The Ovation SA 8.3 Lite is a stereo power amplifier working in class A/B from AVM Audio Video Manufaktur, a German maker, and a variant of the Ovation SA 8.3. The main difference from that model is the omission of the tube input stage, which is replaced by a transistor-based input circuit. Output is rated at 225 W per channel into 8 ohms, 350 W into 4 ohms and 500 W into 2 ohms.

One XLR and one RCA high-level input let the SA 8.3 Lite follow any preamplifier, including AVM's own Ovation models. A trigger input for 5 to 20 V DC and a 12 V trigger output allow it to power up alongside linked components, and signal-sensing inputs can be enabled in the menu. Its lowest-impedance rating keeps loudspeakers with deep impedance dips within the published operating range.
