Engineering and use context

Despite the power level there is no fan - the board layout is planned for airflow, the amplifier modules attach directly to the bottom panel, and the side panels carry cooling fins shaped to avoid vibration. Slits between the input connectors protect the input circuits, and direct wiring without connectors feeds the discrete buffer circuits. Height and depth were reduced to widen placement options. Large VU meters on the front come with dimmer and gain switching. The amplifier operates between +5 and +35 C at 5% to 85% humidity without condensation, and ships with a power cord, three footpads and the owner's manual.

Pairing

A switch selects stereo or bi-amp operation, so two units can drive woofers and tweeters on separate channels. Gold-plated screw terminals take banana plugs, and a 12 V trigger input with a trigger thru output on 3.5 mm jacks lets the amplifier power up with other components.
