The A 200 is a two-channel power amp in the Series 200 line of T+A Elektroakustik, the German electronics maker. T+A builds the amplifier around PURIFI Eigentakt Class D output stages. Protection is handled by the T+A Intelligent Safe Control system, which monitors temperature, load and clipping. The mains input accepts 220 to 240 V at 50 or 60 Hz. Maximum power draw is 600 W, idle consumption with no signal is 25 W and standby is under 0.5 W. A second damping setting, DF LO, lowers the damping factor to above 70 for loudspeakers that call for it.
