Engineering and use context

Every chassis carries two independent high current power supplies with four separate stabilised stages, and a capacitor bank of 320,000 uF stores energy for the output section. The mains transformer is a custom 3000 VA audio type with dual ferromagnetic shielding. Parts named by the maker include Mundorf capacitors and Dale resistors. The enclosure is CNC machined from aluminium, then hand polished and anodised. Three additional transformers feed the supply and control circuits, while the gain stage sits in an aluminium enclosure sealed with epoxy resin. Instead of fuses, current sensors monitored by a microprocessor protect the circuit. The Signature version also brings custom gold plated circuit boards, matched resistors in the capacitor bank, redesigned cooling fins and improved speaker terminals. Mains power enters through a C19 IEC connector, and voltage versions cover 100, 110-115, 220-230 and 240 V at 50-60 Hz. Inputs come on XLR and RCA sockets, and the XLR port allows the signal to be daisy chained onward to another unit. Packed for shipping, one amplifier occupies 580 x 410 x 700 mm and weighs 124 kg.
