The A25+ belongs to the Radia+ integrated amplifier family of Arcam, the British brand within HARMAN, and Arcam highlights its new DAC and new wireless features. It replaces the original Radia A25 and was introduced in North America at CEDIA Expo 2025 alongside the A5+ and A15+, with a US price of USD 1,999.95 and shipments set for the opening weeks of Q4 2025. Arcam traces its amplifier work back to 1976.

Key specs that matter

Amplification is based on the fifth generation of the Class G design from Arcam and is rated at 100 W per channel into 8 ohm with two channels driven over 20 Hz to 20 kHz, or 165 W per channel into 4 ohm at 1 kHz. Distortion measures 0.002% at 80% of rated output into 8 ohm at 1 kHz. Three RCA line inputs reach 106 dB A-weighted noise performance, with response flat to within 0.2 dB from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The moving magnet phono stage presents 47 kohm and 100 pF and tracks the RIAA curve within 1 dB. The chassis is 431 mm wide, 344 mm deep and 83 mm high, with a weight of 9 kg net and 12 kg boxed.

Engineering and use context

Changes over the earlier A25 include a substantially upgraded transformer with a dedicated winding for the digital and DAC circuits, double linear regulation in the analogue supplies and improved mains filtering. An ESS9018 converter is now dedicated to the S/PDIF inputs. Digital connections comprise HDMI eARC, coaxial and optical, plus USB-C running up to 384 kHz, while the other inputs reach 192 kHz, at 16, 24 or 32 bit and 109 dB signal to noise. Bluetooth 5.4 with Snapdragon Sound covers the aptX family up to aptX Lossless, AAC, SBC and LE Audio, and Auracast lets multiple compatible headphones or speakers receive the same music. An OLED display sits behind a precision-cut glass front panel. The headphone output gives 2.5 V RMS into 32 ohm and 5 V into 300 ohm across loads of 16 ohm to 2 kohm. Maximum mains draw is 500 W and standby use stays below 0.5 W, and mains versions exist for 100 V, 110 to 120 V and 220 to 240 V.

High sample rate files can arrive from a computer or streamer through the USB-C port, a television links over HDMI eARC, and a moving magnet turntable connects directly.
