The A15+ is the middle model of the Radia+ integrated amplifier range from Arcam, a British brand owned by HARMAN, and it updates the original Radia A15. The Radia+ trio made its North American debut at CEDIA Expo 2025, and deliveries were scheduled to start at the beginning of Q4 2025, with a US price of USD 1,499.95 for this model. Arcam presents it as the latest step in nearly 50 years of amplifier design that began with its first product in 1976.
Key specs that matter
Class AB amplification provides 80 W per channel into 8 ohm with both channels driven from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, and 120 W per channel into 4 ohm at 1 kHz. Harmonic distortion is 0.002% at 80% of rated power into 8 ohm at 1 kHz. The analogue section offers three RCA line inputs quoted at 106 dB for A-weighted noise and at response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz within 0.2 dB. A moving magnet phono input is loaded at 47 kohm and 100 pF and follows the RIAA curve within 1 dB. Digital inputs accept 16 and 24 bit data from 44.1 to 192 kHz with a 109 dB signal to noise figure. The case measures 431 x 344 x 98 mm and weighs 10 kg net or 13 kg packed.
Engineering and use context
Over the first A15, the Plus revision adds an HDMI input with eARC and ARC for connection to a television, and an upgraded transformer that Arcam says further reduces unwanted current inside the chassis. The Bluetooth 5.4 module supports Snapdragon Sound and handles the LE Audio standard as well as aptX Lossless, aptX HD, aptX, AAC and SBC and works as both sink and source, letting the amplifier take music from a phone or send its output to wireless headphones. Auracast lets several compatible headphones or speakers share one stream. A wired headphone output delivers 2.5 V into 32 ohm and 5 V RMS into 300 ohm and accepts loads between 16 ohm and 2 kohm. Mains versions cover 100 V, 110 to 120 V and 220 to 240 V, maximum consumption is 500 W and standby draw is under 0.5 W. The unit ships in plastic free packaging, and the Plus model keeps the MM phono stage that Arcam describes as fine-tuned, alongside the digital and analogue inputs.
Pairing
Over HDMI eARC a television joins the system and an MM cartridge turntable plugs into the phono stage, while any disc transport or streamer offering S/PDIF output feeds the digital inputs.
Alternatives
The Arcam A25+ is the next Radia+ integrated amplifier up, with a Class G output stage and a USB-C input.
