DELA is a Japanese brand specialising in dedicated network audio servers and storage devices, developed under Melco Holdings, giving DELA close engineering ties to Melco's own well-regarded high-end network-audio products.
Range & what it's known for
The catalog spans network attached storage servers and switches purpose-built specifically for streaming music playback rather than general-purpose IT storage use, with DELA's engineering emphasis on low-noise power supplies and file-system optimisation intended to deliver more consistent, reliable network audio streaming than a repurposed consumer NAS device typically provides.
Who owns it and where it's made
DELA operates under Melco Holdings, a Japanese company, with development and manufacturing continuing domestically in Japan.
The lineup in this catalog
Network storage and switches. Prices span roughly 1,000 to 5,000 dollars across the current range.
Who it's for
DELA suits buyers wanting a purpose-built network storage solution for music streaming, appealing to listeners who specifically want to avoid the noise and reliability compromises a general-purpose consumer NAS device can introduce into a digital-audio chain.
