Coincident Speaker Technology is a Canadian manufacturer of high-sensitivity loudspeakers and tube amplification, building a reputation for efficient driver designs specifically engineered to pair well with lower-powered single-ended-triode amplifiers.
Range & what it's known for
The catalog spans the Total Victory, Total Eclipse and Frankenstein amplifier ranges, with Coincident's loudspeakers consistently prioritising high sensitivity, often in the 93-96dB range, to remain compatible with the modest output of the brand's own single-ended-triode tube amplifiers, reflecting a coherent design philosophy applied across both the electronics and acoustic sides of the catalog.
Who owns it and where it's made
Coincident Speaker Technology remains Canadian-owned and Canadian-manufactured, continuing to design and build both its loudspeakers and tube amplifiers domestically.
The lineup in this catalog
Loudspeakers and tube amplifiers. Prices span roughly 3,000 to well over 30,000 dollars across the current range.
Who it's for
Coincident suits buyers specifically wanting a matched high-sensitivity loudspeaker and single-ended-triode amplifier system from a single Canadian manufacturer, rather than sourcing efficient speakers and low-power tube amplification from separate, unrelated brands.
