Range & what it's known for
Closer Acoustics builds high-efficiency floorstanding loudspeakers alongside a small number of electronics, with a catalogue centred on speakers intended for low-power amplification. Several of its models are offered in 8 or 16 ohm versions, a choice aimed at owners of tube amplifiers with matching output transformer taps.
The lineup in this catalog
Floorstanding loudspeakers including the Adam, Eva, Allegra, Forlane and Vigo, the compact Ogy stand-mount, the Flō phono stage with balanced and single-ended inputs and the 300B Provocateur Signature Edition integrated amplifier. The Adam and Eva share a 117cm cabinet weighing 43kg and need only about 35W.
Who it's for
Listeners building a system around single-ended or low-power tube amplification who want speakers designed with that pairing in mind.
