Amphion Loudspeakers

Год основания: 1998
Amphion Loudspeakers offers a range of modern acoustics that are handmade in Finland, representing the consumer-facing home hi-fi side of the broader Amphion engineering operation that also serves the professional studio-monitor market under the same corporate umbrella.
Range & what it's known for
The catalog spans standmount and floorstanding loudspeakers built around Amphion's characteristic neutral, low-diffraction cabinet designs, frequently recognisable by rounded baffle edges intended to minimise the sharp-edge diffraction that can smear timing and imaging in more conventionally boxy cabinet shapes. This design language carries directly across from Amphion's professional monitor range into its home hi-fi products.
Who owns it and where it's made
Amphion Loudspeakers is Finnish-owned, with every model in the range handmade in Finland rather than assembled from imported sub-components at a separate lower-cost facility, a manufacturing commitment the brand highlights consistently in its own marketing.
The lineup in this catalog
Loudspeakers (7). Prices span roughly 2,000 euros for compact standmount models to well over 15,000 euros for larger floorstanding designs.
Who it's for
Amphion Loudspeakers suits buyers who want Finnish-handmade loudspeakers built around a low-diffraction, studio-informed cabinet philosophy, offering a considered alternative to more conventionally shaped floorstanders from larger, less specialised manufacturers.
