YG Acoustics has introduced the reference floor-standing XX 3 loudspeakers in passive and active design. One or the other version is obtained by replacing the base of the speaker and adding external DSP module with full commutation set.
The passive version of the YG Acoustics XX speaker systems includes an UltraCoherent crossover built on audiophile components and tuned using extensive multi-domain modeling.
The active version of the XX Live is equipped with Bel Canto Design amplifiers capable of providing audiophile amplification with a total power of 5.6 kW per speaker, complemented by first-class digital-to-analog converters and a DSP-based crossover.
The manufacturer promises incredible dynamics and musicality of both the passive and active versions of the XX speakers.
The standard finish is black or silver, but YG Acoustics can offer other colors upon order. Both versions of the YG Acoustics XX weigh 170 kilograms per speaker.

The new Nagaoka MP-700 cartridge tops the Moving Permalloy (MP) series and will be available in the standard MP-700 and premium MP-700H versions. Compared to conventional moving magnet (MM) cartridges, the Moving Permalloy (MP) variant features a lighter permalloy magnet attached to the cantilever.
Sennheiser has introduced the Sennheiser ACCENTUM Open TWS headphones – the model, designed in a stylish compact design, promises, according to the manufacturer, exceptional comfort during use and a secure fit.
The Ranieri Audio Labs Varieta preamplifier has been released – the model uses directly heated triodes and allows for a wide range of tubes (300B, 2A3/6A3, 12A/201A, 26, 30, 31, 45, 50, 71A, 801A/10Y, 275A/252A, 245 and 842/VT52 will do). Simply ideal for those wishing to experiment with tube rolling.
Accuphase has introduced the Accuphase C-57 phono preamplifier, based on a fully balanced circuit design from output to input with dual mono topology. The Accuphase C-57 also uses a two-stage solution: the first stage is the output stage to ensure matching with MM and MC cartridges, the second stage is the correction amplifier itself.
Last year, Goldmund launched the impressive Goldmund Rhea and Theia acoustics in active versions with a wireless streamer. The all-in-one solution certainly looked brilliant, but High-End fans often prefer component systems. So now the company has introduced the Goldmund Rhea and Theia loudspeakers in a Passive version.
