German company T+A has introduced a stylish integrated amplifier T+A Symphonia with arrows indicators of the gain level. The model offers a full set of analog and digital inputs, is equipped with a built-in digital-to-analog converter, a full-fledged network streamer and has a built-in phono preamplifier.
The heart of T+A Symphonia is its proprietary power amplifiers using Purifi Eigentakt technology. According to T+A, this platform, developed by the Danish technology company, is nothing less than one of the best concepts of class D amplifiers, as it overcomes the limitations of other class D amplifiers - characterized by an extremely low distortion factor and minimal intermodulation distortion regardless of the power.
T+A Symphonia offers 125 watts per channel when working with an 8 Ohms load and 2 x 250 watts for a 4 Ohm load. The damping factor exceeds 800 units, and the frequency response is in the range from 1 Hz to 60 kHz.
T+A Symphonia's capabilities include tuners for receiving both analog FM radio and digital DAB, as well as Internet radio: streaming services are available through a proprietary app. T+A Symphonia also supports the UPnP standard and allows streaming over a home network via wired Ethernet or wireless Wi-Fi 802.11ax, and Bluetooth is also not forgotten. The presence of an HDMI ARC port suggests easy integration into a video system. The streamer supports PCM with parameters up to 32 bit/384 kHz and DSD up to DSD256. In USB DAC mode, up to 32-bit/768 kHz PCM and DSD512 are available over USB-C, respectively.
The T+A Symphonia Network Integrated Amplifier will be available in April 2025 with a suggested retail price of $9,990 USD / €8,490.
