Lake People and Manikin Electronic announce their cooperation for a series of audio tools called Pro Audio Bricks. Starting the series are 10MHz4Reference and Isolator4USB.

Pro Audio Bricks: real problem solvers for professionals

Lake People and Manikin have co-developed a number of specialized solutions for studio and audio production environments to combat typical challenges of working with audio. Two problem solvers will be available from May already: the precision master clock 10MHz4Reference and the USB isolator Isolator4USB. A whole host of additional products are currently being prepared. Their compact format makes the Pro Audio Bricks perfect for travelling. Their solid, road-worthy craftsmanship ensures they will perform even after years on duty.

10MHz4Reference sets the pace

The Lake People Pro Audio Brick 10MHz4Reference master clock offers secure clocking for digital systems. The importance of a stable clocking signal for the sonic integrity of digital audio is unquestionable; the 10MHz4Reference delivers this central clock. The Oven-Controlled Crystal Oscillator (OCXO) delivers high clocking precision, minimum phase noise and outstanding long-term stability. The outputs are realized with 50 ohms and 75 ohms to be able to connect to any audio device with corresponding reference inputs. The galvanic isolation prevents low-frequency interference through ground loops. Through all of this, the 10MHz4Reference elevates digital audio systems to a new level.

Isolator4USB protects the data flow

The Lake People Pro Audio Brick Isolator4USB is a rare type of device. You could call it a DI box for USB connections: the data line and power supply between USB host and USB device are separated through a powerful USB isolation chip in combination with a DC/DC converter. The galvanic isolation prevents unwanted electrical interference, significantly enhancing signal quality. Crackling or drop-outs can be effectively eliminated, making the Isolator4USB an indispensable tool in all situations that require reliable, interference-free USB transmission.
