Naim has unveiled its most sophisticated all-in-one music system: the Naim Mu-so Utopia. This cutting-edge wireless immersive music system features Dolby Atmos support and delivers a powerful 720 watts of output. Built using technologies and drivers from Focal, the Naim Mu-so Utopia is designed for rooms up to 50 m² (capable of reaching a maximum sound pressure level of 109 dB).

At the heart of the Naim Mu-so Utopia is an array of drivers powered by a combination of Class D and Class A/B amplifiers. The configuration includes: 3 woofers (6”x3”), 2 mid-range drivers (2.75”) featuring Focal’s signature ‘M’-shaped ‘W’ cones, 2 tweeters (1”) utilizing PRISM technology, 2 side-firing full-range drivers (1.5”x 2.75”), and 4 top-firing full-range drivers (1.5”x 2.75”). The use of Class A/B amplification for specific frequency bands ensures a more natural sound. The frequency response is remarkably impressive for the unit’s dimensions, spanning 30 Hz to 20,000 Hz (within a 6 dB margin).

The Mu-so Utopia supports streaming services such as Tidal, Qobuz, and Spotify, alongside AirPlay 2, Google Cast, and Bluetooth 5.3. UPnP is also included for playback from local network sources. The system handles PCM audio files up to 32-bit/384 kHz, as well as DSD128. Dolby Atmos support is complemented by several sound modes, including "Dolby Movie" and "Sphere Music".

For external connectivity, the system offers HDMI eARC, an optical input, an RCA subwoofer output, and an Ethernet port. The chassis is crafted from anodized aluminum and accented with red trim. On the top, there are touch controls, including an illuminated volume dial.

Measuring approximately 40 cm in length, the unit weighs 14 kg. The Naim Mu-so Utopia is priced at £4,499.
