Japanese company Audio-Technica has expanded the range of finishes available for its popular AT-LP60XBT turntable, introducing a new version in a rich teal color. The new model, designated AT-LP60XBTTL, joins the existing black and white versions. The distinctive blue-green finish is aimed at customers who regard audio equipment not only as a means of listening to music but also as an integral part of their interior design. The changes are purely cosmetic, with the turntable retaining the same construction and technical specifications as the standard model.

The Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT is a fully automatic belt-drive turntable designed primarily for those taking their first steps into the world of vinyl. Its automatic mechanism positions the tonearm at the beginning of the record and returns it to its rest after playback, eliminating the need for manual operation. The turntable supports two playback speeds, 33⅓ and 45 rpm. Built-in Bluetooth connectivity allows users to stream music wirelessly to headphones and powered speakers, including the Audio-Technica AT-SP3x. Support for the aptX codec ensures high-quality audio transmission when paired with compatible devices. For wired connections, an analog output is provided, while the built-in switchable phono preamplifier allows the turntable to be connected either to the line-level inputs of amplifiers or to external phono stages.

The Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT features a die-cast aluminum platter designed to minimize unwanted resonance. The redesigned tonearm base and headshell help improve groove tracking stability and reduce the influence of mechanical vibrations. The turntable is equipped with a moving-magnet cartridge and a replaceable ATN3600LC diamond stylus. The tonearm's key parameters are factory preset, eliminating the need for complicated adjustments before use. To minimize electrical interference, the power supply is housed externally, helping prevent unwanted noise from entering the audio signal path.

The Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBTTL comes with a detachable audio cable featuring a 3.5 mm connector and RCA plugs, a 45 rpm adapter for seven-inch records with large center holes, and a transparent hinged dust cover. Thanks to its combination of automatic operation, wireless connectivity, and an integrated phono preamplifier, the turntable can be used with compatible powered speakers or Bluetooth headphones without requiring additional equipment. The new Teal version of the Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT is already available for purchase at a recommended retail price of €199.
