The № 5105 brings Mark Levinson's most storied engineering heritage to a serious, complete analogue playback platform matching the brand's celebrated 5000 series.

Two speeds are supported - 33 and 45rpm - via an integrated, isolation-mounted 12V synchronous DC motor with fully digital motor electronics for stable speed and low distortion. The plinth and 11.75-inch, 1.33-inch-thick platter are both machined from solid aluminium for exceptional stability, with the heavy chassis resting on three adjustable isolation feet. A custom 10-inch carbon-fibre tonearm with a gimbal bearing system provides low-friction movement both horizontally and vertically, with an aluminium headshell featuring an integrated finger lift and at-the-headshell azimuth adjustability. An optional factory-installed Ortofon Quintet Black moving-coil cartridge is available.
