Bookshelf Speakers — DALI MENUET SE

The DALI Menuet SE is a compact bookshelf speaker built for a small room or for nearfield listening, where the size of the cabinet matters most. In the DALI lineup it is one of the compact models for smaller spaces.

Key specs that matter

DALI rates the response at 59Hz to 25kHz. Sensitivity is 86dB into a nominal 4 ohms, and DALI specifies amplifiers of 20 to 100W per channel.

Engineering and use context

Typical places for it are a bedroom, office or small apartment, and it is not meant to serve as a full-range main speaker.

Pairing

The speaker works with a modest stereo amplifier and does not demand large current reserves, which makes it an easy match for a first, budget-minded amplifier.

Alternatives

The DALI Rubicon 2 has a larger cabinet and deeper rated bass, for a room where the compact size of the Menuet SE is not required.
