Edifier's WH700NB Pro is a sealed, wireless over-ear model offering hybrid ANC, multipoint Bluetooth and a wired mode certified for Hi-Res Audio. It folds flat for travel and is controlled through Edifier's ConneX smartphone app.

Edifier fits two 40 mm dynamic drivers using titanium-coated composite diaphragms. The built-in microphones use AI-based noise reduction so the caller's speech stays distinct from surrounding noise. Thanks to multipoint, a pair of sources can stay linked simultaneously, so the listener can move between two sources without pairing again. A game mode cuts latency to 0.06 seconds for video and gaming. Through the ConneX app the owner can switch noise cancelling modes, adjust the equaliser, rename the headphone, update firmware and locate a lost pair. The headphone weighs 270 g and measures 163.1 x 198.2 x 82.8 mm. It comes in black, grey and ivory, and ships with a Type-C lead for charging plus a printed manual. The large earpads use memory foam, and the headband is adjustable for fit. When the battery runs flat, the headphone can still be used in wired mode.

Pairing

With its DAC and amplifier on board, the WH700NB Pro pairs over Bluetooth to a smartphone, tablet or laptop and needs no external electronics. For the extended bandwidth and Hi-Res operation a cable is required, which also lets the headphone run from a digital audio player or the headphone socket of a desktop system.
