The Mustang Thunder is an over-ear Bluetooth headphone by GoBoult, the Indian brand also known as Boult Audio. Its closed earcups carry LED lights with two modes, one steady and one gently pulsing. The launch price in India was INR 2,499, with a market operating price of INR 2,999.

Key specs that matter

Behind each earpad sits a 40 mm dynamic driver with a quoted range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Bluetooth 5.4 carries AAC and SBC. Playback reaches up to 70 hours with the lights off and 50 hours with them on, and ten minutes of USB-C charging adds roughly 10 hours. The headphone weighs around 234 g and is rated IPX5 against sweat and splashes.

Engineering and use context

Four EQ presets are offered, Rock, Pop, Vocal and Bass, and a 60 ms low-latency mode is aimed at gaming. For calls, a quad-microphone array works with environmental noise cancellation. Leather-style padding covers the earcups and the headband.

Alternatives

The GoBoult Q is another over-ear Bluetooth model from the brand with the same 70-hour rating and Bluetooth 5.4.
