It is a themed limited run built on the Origin model, with a revised driver, new venting and decorated shells, and it is listed at USD 499.99. The name comes from the manor theme carried through the engraving and packaging of the earpieces.

Key specs that matter

A single 10 mm dynamic driver from the DMT5 Ultra series does all the work. Tanchjim gives sensitivity as 124 dB SPL at 1 kHz and 1 mW, impedance as 16 ohm at 1 kHz, and THD+N as 0.049 percent. The stated frequency range extends from 2 Hz to 48 kHz. Its lead is terminated by a modular system carrying three interchangeable plugs - 3.5 mm single-ended, 4.4 mm balanced and USB-C.

Engineering and use context

Against the regular Origin, the Lost Manor moves from the DMT5 driver to the DMT5 Ultra version, which keeps a dual cavity and dual magnet layout but uses a revised structure aimed at lower distortion. The earlier air vent system is replaced by a new airflow arrangement with a Helmholtz resonator in the rear cavity, a waveguide cover perforated with many micro holes and a pressure relief system. These parts work together with Tanchjim T-APB pressure balanced eartips and a micro-perforated filter to reduce the pressure felt inside the ear canal. The shells are precision milled from metal and laser engraved, with a portrait of a royal girl on the left earpiece and a royal sigil carrying the Tanchjim logo on the right, set against a diamond textured pattern that changes with the angle of light. The cable is a coaxial Litz braid combining copper and silver, with 6N oxygen-free copper that is silver plated, a shielded positive core and a soft outer jacket to resist tangling. Tuning follows the newer Tanchjim target developed on a 5128 head and torso simulator.

Pairing

The low impedance at this efficiency lets a phone or compact dongle reach ample level, so output power is not a limiting factor. The balanced plug connects to balanced outputs on portable players and desktop amplifiers, while the USB-C plug allows direct connection to phones and computers without a separate converter. The single-ended plug remains available for laptops and players without a balanced socket, so a single lead covers every common source type.
