OneOdio's Focus A6 pairs an over-ear wireless design with hybrid ANC, Bluetooth 6.0 and LDAC support. Hi-Res Audio certification is claimed, and the list price is USD 69.99. Two colour options are offered, Midnight Black and Ivory Blush, and the ear cups have a metal finish with a CD-style texture.

Key specs that matter

OneOdio fits a 40 mm dynamic driver with a PET membrane in each cup, with a stated response running from 20 Hz to 40 kHz. Noise cancelling uses both feedforward and feedback microphones and is rated at up to -48 dB of reduction. Battery life is rated at up to 75 hours with ANC switched off. Charging runs through USB-C and takes about 1.5 hours for a full charge. Codec support covers LDAC along with AAC and SBC. The headphone weighs 240 g.

Engineering and use context

Five microphones handle both ANC and voice pickup, with environmental noise cancellation and AI-based noise reduction for voice. The control scheme offers five noise modes, including standard ANC, a wind noise reduction mode, a wind-resistant transparency mode and a regular transparency mode. The Bluetooth 6.0 chip uses ISOAL technology, and multipoint lets the Focus A6 stay connected to two devices at the same time. A wired connection is also supported, and ANC can be used while listening over USB-C, so the noise cancelling stays active on a cable as well as on Bluetooth. A companion app allows sound and control customisation. The headband is adjustable and the ear cushions are padded. The headphone folds, and the box includes a 1.5 m USB-C cable but no carry case. Three buttons on the ear cup handle control, and charging is possible while music plays. The OneOdio app for iOS and Android adds spatial audio, Pop, Bass and Super Bass presets, a 7-band equaliser, a gaming mode with 0.065 s latency and a find function that plays a high-frequency tone to locate the headphone.

Pairing

LDAC works with Android phones and other sources that support the codec, while iPhones and most computers will connect over AAC or SBC. For flights and long trips the long battery rating means the headphone can run for days between charges, and the USB-C cable doubles as a wired link when a source has no Bluetooth. Multipoint makes it simple to move between a work laptop and a phone without re-pairing each time.

Alternatives

The OneOdio Studio Max 2 is another over-ear headphone from the brand, with a quoted 0.009 s ultra-low latency mode.
