The Enco Buds3 Pro+ is a true wireless in-ear model from OPPO with active noise cancellation, sold in the Indian market in Midnight Black and Sonic Blue. OPPO describes it as the first of its earbuds to carry TÜV Rheinland battery health certification, which states that the cells keep at least 80% of their capacity after 1,000 charge cycles.

Key specs that matter

Each bud contains a 12.4 mm dynamic driver with a titanium coating, rated at 112 dB plus or minus 3 dB at 1 kHz for sensitivity and 20 Hz to 20 kHz for frequency range. Active noise cancellation reaches up to 32 dB under laboratory conditions. The earbuds hold 58 mAh cells and the case 440 mAh. With cancellation off, playback runs 12 hours per charge and 43 hours including the case, measured at 50% volume over AAC. With cancellation or transparency mode on, the figures drop to 8 and 28 hours. A bud weighs 4.2 g, and the case with both buds comes to 46.2 g. The buds measure 3 x 2.03 x 2.39 cm and the case 6.67 x 5.12 x 2.48 cm.

Engineering and use context

OPPO subjected the design to durability tests - drops from 1.8 m for the buds and 1.5 m for the case, 20,000 openings of the case hinge and exposure to 55 degrees Celsius - and the earbuds carry an IP55 rating against dust and water. Two microphones per side, rated at -38 dBV/Pa, work with AI noise reduction to isolate the voice on calls in loud surroundings. The Enco Master Equalizer gives three presets - Bass Boost, Clear Vocals and Original Sound - and the OPPO Alive Audio processing is available only with selected OPPO and OnePlus phones. Touch areas respond to tap, double tap, triple tap and hold, and the HeyMelody app shows battery status, offers tutorials and lets the owner reassign the gestures. Charging goes through a USB Type-C port at 5 V and 1 A, taking 60 minutes for the buds and 80 minutes for the full set, while a 10-minute top-up gives 4 hours of listening.

Pairing

Connection is over Bluetooth 5.4 with a range of 10 m, and OPPO lists only SBC and AAC as codecs, with no higher-resolution Bluetooth format. Google Fast Pair speeds up the first link with Android phones, and dual device connection allows a phone and a tablet to be paired simultaneously. A low-latency mode brings delay down to 47 ms for games and video.

Alternatives

The OPPO Enco Buds3 Pro is the related true wireless model with the same driver size and dust and water rating and a quoted 54 hours of playback including its case.
