The Koss CS95i is a single-sided on-ear communication headset built for telephony, voice recognition software and computer games. It is aimed at individual users as well as call centers and businesses that need an affordable wired headset.

Key specs that matter

The earpiece covers 30 Hz to 16,000 Hz, with 32 ohm impedance, 91 dB SPL/1 mW sensitivity and distortion below 1.0%. Its noise-cancelling electret microphone spans 100 Hz to 16,000 Hz at -56 dB +/- 3 dB per 1 V/1 kHz.

Engineering and use context

A 2.4 m straight single-entry cord terminates in one 3.5mm TRRS plug, which carries both audio and microphone through the combined headphone jack found on current computers, tablets, desk phones and gaming systems. Foam cushions, a soft plastic adjustable headband and a pivoting, foldable boom keep the design ultra lightweight. A Koss Limited Lifetime Warranty applies.
