OnePlus introduced the Buds 3V as an affordable in-ear model in China in September 2025 at CNY 119. OnePlus positions it as a close relative of the Nord Buds 3R, which reached India in August 2025, and the two share identical specifications. The Buds 3V has not had an official global launch, but it is sold outside China through direct import at around USD 30 plus shipping and taxes.

Key specs that matter

OnePlus fits each earpiece with a 12.4 mm driver with a titanium-coated diaphragm. Playback reaches up to 12 hours per charge at 50% volume, and the charging case extends the total to around 54 hours. There is no active noise cancelling. Bluetooth 5.4 handles the wireless link, and the earbuds carry an IP55 rating against dust and water. A game mode lowers latency to 47 ms.

Engineering and use context

Instead of ANC, OnePlus fits two microphones per side paired with AI call noise cancellation, a setup aimed at clearer voices on calls rather than at blocking outside noise. Touch control uses Aqua Touch technology, which OnePlus says keeps the touch surfaces responsive. 3D spatial audio is supported. Google Fast Pair speeds up pairing with Android phones, and multipoint connectivity allows the earbuds to stay linked to two devices. This rating means the buds are protected against dust and against water jets, which covers sweat and rain during exercise and commuting. Since the Buds 3V is a rebrand of the Nord Buds 3R, accessories, case behaviour and feature set match that model, and owners can rely on the same documentation. Calls last up to 7 hours on the buds and 30 hours with the case. A 10-minute charge gives up to 8 hours of playback, and the battery is TUV certified for 1,000 charging cycles with 80% capacity retained. Sound Master EQ offers Balanced, Serenade and Bass presets plus a 6-band equaliser, the maximum range is 10 m, and colours are Aura Blue and Ash Black.

Pairing

The Buds 3V connects to Bluetooth sources of all kinds, and Fast Pair makes the first connection quicker on Android devices. Low latency in game mode helps keep picture and audio aligned in mobile games. With multipoint, the earbuds can switch between a phone and a laptop without pairing again. Because there is no ANC, the long runtime figure applies to normal listening without any trade-off from a noise cancelling mode.

Alternatives

The OnePlus Buds 3 sits above it in the range as an in-ear model with a dual-driver design and ANC rated at up to 49 dB.
