The R|Evolution Soundbar is the first soundbar from SVS, the American company best known for its subwoofers. It was introduced at CES 2026 as a 3.1-channel system that ships with a wireless subwoofer as standard, with launch planned for late Q2 2026.

Key specs that matter

The three-way bar carries nine drivers covering the left, right and centre channels, powered by 180 W of amplification. The supplied wireless subwoofer uses a 12-inch driver and 600 W of continuous Class D amplification with a MOSFET output stage.

Engineering and use context

Dolby Atmos is supported through virtualization, as there are no up-firing drivers in the bar or in the optional rear speakers. A Dolby dialogue mode for clearer speech is included. The bar connects to the TV over HDMI eARC and also offers Wi-Fi, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect and Bluetooth, with streaming at up to 24-bit/96 kHz.

Pairing

Optional R|Evolution Wireless Surround Speakers extend the system to 5.1, and a second wireless subwoofer takes it to 5.2.
