The SVEN PS-375 is a portable two-way Bluetooth speaker with a carrying handle, a rechargeable battery and switchable RGB lighting. It is designed for parties, outdoor use and karaoke, with a microphone input, a USB flash player and a TWS mode that links two units as a wireless stereo pair. The only colour listed is black. SVEN groups it in its portable speaker range, and the handle and battery make it independent of a mains socket for most of a day.

Key specs that matter

Output power is 60 W, divided as 30 W for the woofer and 2 x 15 W for the upper range. SVEN quotes a frequency range of 50 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The driver line-up is one 128 mm (5 inch) woofer and 56 mm (2 inch) units for the treble. Power comes from a 7.4 V lithium-ion battery of 4500 mAh, equal to 33.3 Wh, or from a 5 V USB supply through a Type-C connector. The unit measures 450 x 245 x 190 mm (width, height, depth) and weighs 3.3 kg.

Engineering and use context

Battery life is rated at 22 hours, measured at 30 percent volume with basic equalizer settings, in Bluetooth mode, with the backlight off and at room temperature, so heavier use with lights on will shorten it. Low-frequency output is reinforced by a passive speaker, an undriven diaphragm that works with the air inside the cabinet in place of a port. A bass boost function adds further weight when needed. The lighting offers three modes and can be switched off entirely to save power. Besides Bluetooth, a 3.5 mm AUX input accepts wired sources, and music files can be played directly from a USB flash drive, so no phone is required. The TWS feature pairs two PS-375 units to one source, with one playing the left channel and the other the right. Charging and USB power share the Type-C socket, and because it can also run from USB power, the speaker keeps playing indoors while charging.

Pairing

A smartphone is the obvious source, with a wired microphone added for karaoke sessions. A second PS-375 is the only model listed for TWS pairing, so owners who want stereo need two of the same speaker. For a garden, a balcony or a 20 m2 room, the handle makes it easy to carry between locations, and the USB flash input suits prepared playlists at events where no phone should be tied to the speaker. The AUX socket takes a laptop or older player that lacks Bluetooth, using a standard analogue cable.

Alternatives

The SVEN PS-520 is a multifunctional portable speaker from the same range that also has backlighting and TWS support.
