The Victor SP-WS10BT from JVCKenwood is a portable wireless TV speaker in the Mimiraku hearing-support line, designed for people who want clearer dialogue without raising the volume. Japanese sales began in late November 2025 for around 31,000 yen.

Key specs that matter

The 2-way layout uses two tweeters, one woofer and a large passive radiator, with two 3-watt broadband channels and a 14-watt channel for the woofer. The speaker measures 210 x 85 x 92 mm, and its battery lasts up to 15 hours. An included transmitter of 72 x 20 x 53 mm links to the TV by optical or 3.5 mm analogue input, is powered by its own AC adapter and sends audio over a 2.4 GHz digital link with about 30 ms latency.

Engineering and use context

JVCKenwood chose MDF for the cabinet to limit vibration. Clear, Music and Movie modes are selectable, and Bluetooth 5.4 lets the unit play from a phone as well. An external analogue input, a headphone jack and large physical volume and control buttons complete the set.

Alternatives

The Victor SP-WS02BT is a smaller Bluetooth speaker from JVCKenwood with a 20 W output and up to 12 hours of playback.
