The CO-1 uses a classic coaxial design. The signal wire is made of 28 veins of oxygen-free copper OFC. The "Earth" is a double foil and copper braid screen. The space between them is filled with a porous material similar to foamed polyethylene, but this is our guess (the manufacturer does not specify the brand of insulation). The outside is a traditional polyvinyl chloride shell, which is additionally protected by a nylon braid.
