The Multi.Room Amp is a Class D stereo streaming amplifier from Loewe, the German company founded in Berlin in 1923 and now making its products in Kronach. It was Loewe's first streaming amplifier, launched around December 2023 at GBP 999 or EUR 999, and it links with Loewe's klang mr wireless speakers for multichannel systems. Two units fit side by side in a 19 inch rack, and a wall mount is possible.

Engineering and use context
Class D amplification lets the Multi.Room Amp deliver its rated power from a compact case with passive cooling and no fan. A two-channel crossover with variable level and frequency feeds the subwoofer output, so a subwoofer can take over the bass while the main speakers are relieved of it. Bass, treble and balance controls, gain adjustment and a mono mode are available, and Loewe offers an Excel-based tuning tool that is loaded over USB. Protection circuits cover heat, current, voltage and short circuits. The HDMI ARC input takes sound from a television, and CEC lets the television control the amplifier. Loewe's Wireless Digital Audiolink of the second generation connects the amplifier to klang mr speakers for multichannel layouts. The two RJ45 ports allow several amplifiers to be chained on one network cable for multiroom installations. With DTS Play-Fi the amplifier joins a multiroom system that can include other brands' Play-Fi products.
