The Fezz Audio Mira Ceti 2A3 is a Polish stereo valve amplifier, based on the directly heated 2A3 triode. It runs in parallel single ended form, giving pure class A operation.

Key specs that matter

Output is 2 x 3 W, with speaker taps for 4 and 8 ohm loads. Response runs from 10 Hz to 56 kHz at -3 dB, while THD stays under 0.25 percent. Power consumption is 90 W. The unit measures 340 x 360 x 215 mm and weighs 19.5 kg.

Engineering and use context

It uses two 2A3 output tubes and two 6SN7 drivers. Bias is adjusted automatically, and easily reached fuses protect the amplifier if a power tube fails. Three RCA inputs are fitted, with an optional pre-in, and the feet are anti-vibration designs chosen for its mass. Eight colour finishes are offered, and a remote control and tube cage are optional.

Pairing

With only a few watts available, the Mira Ceti suits high efficiency loudspeakers.
