At the base of the Pro-Ject Signature 12.2 player is a massive MDF chassis, which is even heavier than its predecessor and now has rounded corners. There are no recesses in the player's body where resonances can occur that harm the sound. The chassis is supported by vibration-proofing legs, which can be adjusted from above to compensate for any unevenness of the turntable installation surface.
